MSI Unveils R9 290X Lightning Edition



MSI's Lightning series of graphics cards are known for being beyond insane when it comes to design and power. The R9 290X Lightning variant now features a much beefier cooler and a thicker support brace to ensure that the card does not sag or bend under the weight of itself. The card also features three propeller blade fans that cool the card and can be controlled through MSI's software. The middle yellow fan can be controlled independently and can be adjusted to whatever noise preference you may have. Although the card that we saw was an engineering sample, I was told that we should see the card on the market in the upcomning month. Stay tuned to see our review of the MSI R9 290X!
