How many GPU's can I stack with the Lumos digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1756177
??
I can order more GPU geforce 1080's and stack them, right?
What about processor cores?
How does that work?

That motherboard can take one graphics card.   For sli, 2x video card, you’d need to pick an sli ready mobo.

The 8700k has 6 cores.   You can’t add to the core count without replacing the cpu and probably the motherboard.

What do you need multiple graphics card for ?

I didn’t catch that, but you might be right, hose.

In that case, sli isn’t wanted if I understand the process.   Some use Pcie splitters to use multiple cards on same interface, the bandwidth far less important.    I think.
