Looking at those photos brings back memories of the day my system arrived. Big%20smile

Staring intently inside the machine, in awe of all the components and the build quality...

I think a solid hour passed before I started looking for ways to improve it (this is a long time to pass before I start that thought process, trust me). LOL

That looks like one killer system too. Is that a 780i and a pair of 9800GTX we're seeing in the window?  Great stuff. Thanks for sharing the photos. Thumbs%20Up

ok well after some tweaking, download of the latest bios revision, and updates of the motherboard drivers, she is stable and fast.

Ok I popped in my fan, drawing air into the case and dropped my GPU temps almost 10 degrees centigrade (8 degrees to be precise) I am quite happy with the air cooling so far

It is really nice inside. I was able to route the fan wires I added so they go around the edge of the 5.25" drive bays so they are invisible. I also added a second 500 gig data hard drive after I saw my main drive go fromm 468 gig free to under 300 gig free in my first week and half owning the machine... so now I am the proud owner of a terabyte of storage in my beast...

as I said really happy so far, it has the green case lighting, not really easy to see in that picture, tried taking one in the dark, but all you see is the glow and a suggestion of part outlines, not really a good looking pic, must be my camera as to the eye it looks sweet in the dark.

Kliebor2, a couple of questions whose answers could really help me out...

Which case is that?

and

What are the approximate dimensions of the box your system was shipped in? (I need to know if the box for my system will exceed 108 inches combined height girth, for purposes of APO shipping).

I will measure tonight... give you some numbers. I am at work right now. Tongue

It is the 950si Case... my favorite by far. It has great cooling and is massively expandable

I will tell you it is mammoth and 108 inches is likely exceeded in girth alone :)

Ok, I would say rough length 32, width 12, height 30, for a total of around 118... best guess.

The case itself out of the box is a massive 23.5" deep, 8.125" wide and 20.5" tall (including feet) This monster will hold anything you might want to put in it apart perhaps from a full size Olympic swimming pool

Thank you very much, although it's definitely not what I wanted to hear, lol.

FedEx international looks like it'll be about $580 from Cali to Italy given current fuel prices...compare that to free shipping (well, USPS included in price anyway) via APO, and you see why that stings.

Oh well, thanks again.
