also can anyone tell me about stage 3 cooling ? does it take up a bay to
give temp reading and fan control? the one i have now does and it is great to adjust fan rpm when needed. also id dual graphics cards really
needed? or just 1 high end card if so which one is the best?

For a 19in monitor SLI GTX's isn't really necessary, I'd go with the 3870X2 or wait until Nvidia releases the 9800x2 which should be within the next week or two.

Pro case with extra fan
Quad Q6600 2.4 OC'd 3.1!
Nvidia 8800GT
Asus Maximus Formula Mobo
2xgb 800mhz corsair

From what i take, stage 3 cooling includes the stage 2 heatsink, and it gives you upgraded case fans all around, they also stuff as many fans as they can into the case.

SLI really comes into its own on high resolutions, if you dont play on anything 16--x12-- or above, its usually better to go with a single higher end card. At least thats what ive been told.

V64 + only 2 GB ram is gonna suck your ram away pretty nicely. Id recommend at least 4GB if you wanna go V64. Otherwise just downgrade to V32 or XP.

I personally dont like the extreme chips. I find a OCed 8400 to be enough for gaming at least. While definally higher powered the extreme chip offers less bang for the buck. That 900 bucks saved could be dumped into better hardware, hell you could go triple GTXs for less then that chip, though if youd go that way, youd almost certainly have to get watercooling. The heat would be pretty badass.

Why the 2 seperate Hard drives without any sort of raid? Itd be cheaper just to get one large one if they arnt gonna be in any sort of raid, though im sure there is a reason for it.
