hopefully this is my last configure. i want to say thanks to Duke and Josh
for their answers and tips. i have configured several systems and this is hopefully my last..still have a ? about the short life span of 9800 cards
but i cant wait for Nvidia to make up their minds. getting antsy for a new DS system!! i have on that is 4 yrs old and it still runs great . me personally i am a DS fan for life after owning a Dell , HP, compac i found out about DS doing some research 4 yrs ago and i see their quality level
hasnt changed. so my hats off to DS and their team ! here is my final build

Looks like the Pros have pretty much done it all. Don't be too surprised if you can't burn DVDs though. See threads elsewhere on the forum.

if it were me, and i was already at such a high plateau, id spring for the
9800gx2 1gb
and throw in a X-fi extreme sound card too
 
and maybe some overclocking too, unless you planned to do it yourself

He means don't expect DVD burning software to be bundled with the system.
