One thing that jumps out at me is that you should definitely get XP Pro, not Home.

That looks really good, but, you should go with a single 150GB Raptor drive if possible. A single Raptor is going to be a lot faster than two 80GB drives in a RAID setup.

When folks post these configurations they should alway mention how they intend to use their computers. It can make a difference.

Anyway,  just a bunch of reactions:
  1. If you're going to do RAID0, you should have a third HD to back up the RAID which is twice as likely to fail than a single disk.
  2. 160 Gig might be enough for a pure gaming machine, but not for a machine that does other stuff as well.
  3. I hate to disagree with Alex, but after using a Raptor boot drive for several months, I now believe you'd be better of with a bigger 7200 RPM drive for the same price.
  4. The PSU is too big. Something closer to 800W would still be overkill.
  5. Get a floppy drive. They are dirt cheap, and once every year or two you'll be glad you've got it. I wish I had....
  6. Two optical drives are probably unnecessary unless you copy a lot of discs, but they are also dirt cheap so what the heck.
  7. I assume you're planning to OC the CPU yourself.
  8. Yeah, splurge on XP PRO.

With or without these tweaks it ought to be a great system. But really, get more HD space.

Sorry about not specifying exactly what it will be used for.  :P

It'll be strictly for gaming(CoD4,WoW).  I know I don't need something this good for those games but I want a computer that will LAST.

One question though.

I'm planning on buying the most amount of Scythe fans that will fit.  Which case would be better?
