Awesome It's finally up and running again.  I can say this, taking apart my computer no longer intimidates me.  Strong I've learned a few tricks with this recent malfunction.
All it was was the power supply. 
For anyone having problems with start up issues and you try the paperclip test suggested in the Tech help section, it may not be a bad motherboard if you do the paperclip power over ride and one of the fans work. 
I replaced the motherboard but my computer still wouldn't start up and found out it was the power supply after all.
Well, I have an extra motherboard on hand if I need it, anyway.

The paper clip test, can detect a dead power supply, but not a faulty power supply, and for $30.00 this has helped me out a few times. Big%20Smile

My pleasure and good luck , glad to see you got it figured out, now if the mobo goes bad you got a backup lol.

So the psu change was not that big of a deal right?

without a second psu its difficult to tell for sure if the psu is faulty or the mobo, unless of course you have the psu tester that justin posted good one justin
