This is the rig I have configured.  Any suggestions to make it better?, more stable?  etc...?
I was also hoping someone can clarify what DS's tweaking of the OS includes.

That looks like a very sensible selection. Other than adding a third smaller HDD for the operating systems, I don't see anything that needs changing.

You could consider a 9800GTX over the 8800GTX, but this would depend on the resolutions you intended to use the system at. The two cards trade blows at resolutions of 1920x1200 and above, with a slight to moderate edge going to the older 8800GTX. At lower resolutions, the faster clock and memory speeds of the 9800GTX provide it with a decided advantage over the older card.

I would personally suggest the 9800GTX is an overall better value, but again, this will depend on intended use.

Tyler, thankx for the information.  In the time from posting this topic and reading your reply, I had already changed up my config to the 9800GTX.  I also will take your suggestion at adding a small HDD for the operating systems.

I still would like to know if anyone has information on what DS's tweaking of the operating systems includes.
