Since you're going to use it mainly for gaming, ODE Level 3 has an additional 120GB SSD, and the CPU has a higer OC. But I'm biased...I just bought an ODE Level 3.

SSDs are great! You would definitely notice a difference. It wouldn't increase Frame Rate or mean the difference between DX11 or DX10 or anything like that. It won't improve gaming performance.
However, you would be able to load maps faster than people with a HDD. Which could mean you hopping in a tank before someone else =) The biggest difference, however, is boot up time and opening programs/documents. Opening Photoshop might take 2 seconds on a SSD, where it would take 30 seconds on a HDD. Booting up Windows, or any OS for that matter, would be considerably faster as well. A 23 second boot on a SSD and a 1 minute or more boot on a HDD. Anyway, good luck with your choice! I am having a very similar $2,500 budget ODE 3 vs other Personal Config. Tough choice! However, I am leaning towards the ODE 3 at this point. |

Hi zulfate,
There are a couple of problems with your proposed system and I think you will be a lot happier with the ODE-3. Frank Frank |

For $2,400, you're going to get the best performance for your dollar and features with an ODE system.

Zulfate, I think you would do great with the ODE-3. That would be my choice in this price range. If you have an extra $100 or so, get another year of warranty. The Three year warranty only covers parts for one year.

I like to add some info.
all ssds are not the same, for best reliabity/quality we recommend the intel 320 series. in some games ssd can give more fps, they help with load times of everything os/apps/games in a huge way, however they also help with hitching which also makes games go/feel smoother, so its not jut loading times. |
