2,800 RPM... sorry, but it had to be said.

I have 2 x 150 Raptors in RAID 0, and to be brutally honest, I can't tell the difference between playing a game stored on them and one on my 500 Gb 7200 RPM drive.  Additionally, 80% of the "glitches" I've had since I got my machine have had to do with my RAID drivers.

I think if I had to do it over again, I'd just get 2 or 3 or the 7200 RPM drives.  Having said that, I sure remember the feeling of putting my configuration together, and I wanted the best I could afford, and after all, 10K is more than 7,200.  It's never till you're older and wiser that you realize, just like Tyler Lowe said on another post that more isn't always better.

Kind of like EdH63's posts...

Sorry, I can't help you with the GPUs, that's for bigger brains like SkyR, but it might help him if you post the resolution of the monitor you're looking at.

Seems like you guys lost your post about being out of Ultras and GTX's. Hopefully that gets up pretty soon or youre gonna have a busy time in each post =P.

Honestly though the G92 GTS's are basically almost the same performence wise as a GTX, oh...and youll be saving 400 bucks about. Yea you might lose 1-2FPS but yea...  that 400 bucks can be put into more goodies. Still dont understand why everybody loves those extreme chips so much.

*edit* Oh and by the way, Im planning on using duel G92 GTS's in my build as well when i finally buy late March (hopefully by then there might be another price drop as everybody goes ape for some new cards). And I talked to a DS rep that said that the G92 GTSs as of right now cant be overclocked.

"If you go with the 8800GTS 512MB cards, you won't be able to over clock them. They don't have an upgraded BIOS out yet that's stable. So there's no way we can over clock them yet. "

When I changed out my 7200RPM drive for the 10000 RPM Raptor my load times for on-line gaming dropped a lot.
