1. I'm not a big sound expert, but apparently if you care about sound alot then you want a sound card.

2. no the xfx is not worth it IMO, I mean you get lifetime warranty with xfx but I don't like their quality, and perfomrance wise you will not notice any difference at your res.

ok so if this is within budget I would go with that cause that right there is a beast with a lot of room to grow and be even more mean if it needs to be. we are just scratching the surface here

Originally posted by DST4ME I will go ahead and disagree with philiporphillip here, I think its definitely worth it to get the 5 year warranty, if you want to not worry about getting a new pc for the next 5 years then get the 5 year warranty, otherwise if the mobo or some main parts go bad, then you got either learn basically how to build a pc or get a new one, but if you have warranty then you got no worries. to me warranty is a peace of mind, once you have it, you got nothing to worry about. my warranty with other builders have paid off for me over and over again, as a matter of fact just rma-ed a gpu and due to warranty, no cost to me

 

Originally posted by DST4ME na just old age, that one was more like 80c to 85c. most of the member here will not change: mobo,psu,optical drives, cpu, cpu cooler, ram, case, etc, so most of the pc does stay the same, sure you will replace gpu, add HDDs maybe or pci cards but the meat of the system stays the same and should be under warranty unless you want to change them. I might change the mobo and cpu on my DS system, but there is a good chance I will just send it to them to swap them out, but the rest of the system stays the same.
