I built this laptop for work/play. I will be using this laptop to transfer hd video from one source to another. I would also like to use it for casual gaming here and there when I have the time.

Get the Intel Ultimate N 6330 wireless card because it's better than the stock one.

Do you need warranty on your laptop? The one that comes with it is 1 year for parts and 3 years for labor.

Yeh I guess I should up the warranty as I will be traveling around with it and who knows what can happen.
