YES!!!! Finally my build has hit stage 5. Hopefully it gets completed and shipped today.. That would be stellar.
This is my first PC from Digital Storm. Im not sure what to expect but have heard great things about them. I usually build my own but figured let someone else do it for me for once and see how it turns out. Well here is my build. This is designed to specifically run one program. XPLANE 11 (flight sim) Im building a full complete 737-800 cockpit in my house. (fixed base no motion) and running xplane for the visuals. Most of todays gamers think flight sim why do you need a super beefy machine for that? Does anyone know just how intensive CPU and GPU it is to render clouds? and then not just render but do it in realtime with real time weather? and not just that but then render the physics of said cloud based on cloud desnity and atmospheric conditions with how it interacts as the plane passes through them? .. LOL long story short yeah its intense. Here is the build what do you think? I opted out of GPU because I have a MSI 1070 TI card for it already Chassis Model: Digital Storm Lumos Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (8-Core) (Boost Up to 4.3 GHz) Motherboard: MSI X470 GAMING PRO CARBON (AMD X470 Chipset) (Up to 3x PCI-E Devices) System Memory: 16GB DDR4 3000MHz Digital Storm Performance Series Power Supply: 750W Corsair RM750x (Fully Modular) Expansion Bay: - No Thanks Optical Drive: - No Thanks Storage Set 1: 1x SSD M.2 (250GB Digital Storm M.2 Performance Series) Storage Set 2: 1x Storage (2TB Seagate / Toshiba) Storage Set 3: - No Thanks RAID Config: - No Thanks RAID Card: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Graphics Card(s): 1x - No Thanks Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio HPC Processor: - No Thanks Extreme Cooling: H20: Stage 2: Digital Storm Vortex 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler (Fully Sealed + No Maintenance) HydroLux Tubing Style: - Not Applicable, I do not have a custom HydroLux liquid cooling system selected HydroLux Fluid Color: - Not Applicable, I do not have a custom HydroLux liquid cooling system selected Cable Management: Premium Cable Management (Strategically Routed & Organized for Airflow) Chassis Fans: Standard LED Performance Fans (Red) Fans Internal Lighting: Remote Controlled Advanced LED Lighting System (Multiple RGB Color Modes) Airflow Control: - No Thanks Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Noise Reduction: - No Thanks LaserMark: Option Not Available CPU Boost: Stock Factory Turbo Boost Advanced Automatic Overclocking Graphics Boost: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) OS Boost: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-Bit Edition) Recovery Tools: USB Drive - Windows 10 Installation (Format and Clean Install) Virus Protection: Windows Defender Antivirus (Built-in to Windows 10) Office: - No Thanks Game: - No Thanks Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks Branded Gear: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 15-20 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: Life-time Expert Care with 3 Year Limited Warranty |

Welcome. It would seem that you have designed a very capable machine that will give you all that you need. Congrats and I hope it meets your every expectation!

Welcome to DS. I would increase the capacity of the Storage Set 1 to at least 500GB. Windows takes a bit leaving you with almost nothing. Don't know about AMD's chip. Keep us posted. |

Hello all, Well I have had my Lumos build now for about 2 weeks or so and what can I say its awesome..Going with Digital Storm for my PC was the smartest decision.
Quality is topshelf, Although, the CPU was not over clocked even thou I requested it. Im not sure how to over clock. Other then that I wish they had a store in which I could purchase more upgrades like additional RAM etc. But I can tell you without a doubt, if you are looking at Digital Storm for a custom computer, you have definitely made the right choice. Wish I had a Digital Storm lanyard for some swag to help promote them in my office.. |

Get in touch with DS about your overclock. They can walk you through it over the phone.
Congrats and all the best! |

There's no need to overclock that processor. Ryzen series will boost intelligently on its own. You CAN manually overclock but you would likely actually lose performance. |

And just to point out something, you did not ask for an overclock, just the standard boost:
CPU Boost: Stock Factory Turbo Boost Advanced Automatic Overclocking |
