I received my Lumos Desktop yesterday via UPS Freight. I have had my jaw on the floor ever since I opened the box. I opted for two M.2 drives as my storage options and I have now seen the glorious NVMe light!!! Not hearing a hard drive and having my OS boot in 8 seconds is a revelation. My games load quicker and the read/write times overall are astronomical.
I went with a Corsair H115i AIO 280mm liquid cooler. My most recent PC was from another custom PC retailer/manufacturer and I had constant problems with their AIO cooling. This Corsair cooler not only runs super quiet but it also is far superior at keeping my CPU cool. Speaking of CPU, I went with an 8700k and opted for the best overclock that was available. The mad scientists at Digital Storm boosted it to 4.9GHZ and it runs like a dream. The temperatures are colder than a polar bears toenails and it has not had any stability issues with me rapidly throwing games at it that tend to be CPU intensive. The case fans are Corsair MLPRO 120 RGB and they are more quiet than a mouse sneezing. I have never had the joy of taking off my headset to hear utter silence while playing a game on ultra settings until now. I cannot help but grin ear to ear when I take my headset off and hear the beautiful sound of silence. These fans and the LED strips from Digital Storm also put on a light show that would make the 4th of July jealous!!!! My case is a Corsair 570X. The tempered glass made for some very nervous nights while waiting for UPS to get it safely here. I figured that if anyone could find a way to break my case, it would be UPS. But I was thankfully wrong!! I have never had a case that was all glass on the top and side panels. I am now a huge fan! The glass is nearly invisible when you view it from the right angle and it makes for a great view of the professional cable management job that Digital Storm has bestowed upon my PC. I went for a GTX 1080TI GPU and Digital Storm selected a very nice model for my system. The MSI 1080TI Aero that they blessed me with runs great at the 1750mhz boost that they applied. It stays cool while not throttling due to limited power or overheating. I have ran several games at 4k already and my eyes have feasted upon the 60fps promised land!!! I want to say a deep felt thank you to everyone at Digital Storm for providing such a quality product! You all were great from the minute I started building my system. Again, I have bought from other popular companies that may begin with the letter O or C or I and the service and quality of end product that Digital Storm provides makes them look like "Baby's First Computer". Thank you a hundred times over and rest assured that you now have a customer for life in me!!! -Adam Here are some pics, they really dont do it justice! https://imgur.com/a/jqX6B https://imgur.com/a/jgPAj And my total specs... My boot times are a tad longer just because the good folks at ASUS wanted me to take a breath or two before skipping past the BIOS entry.
I'm pleased you're so happy. Wish you all the best for a good while to come!

Your hand has to have time to reach the mouse before the system has booted up and is ready.
