Hi guys. I want to order a beast game rig, with sandy bridge processor i7 2600K. I saw it on this website. My main concern is that currently, there is a problem with those processors. I read articles that they will come out again in early march, but they are in Digital Storm already! So, do they still sell broken processors because it is impossible to have them as early as digital storm have.

There are no problems with the processors, it's a recall on certain motherboards.

Thanks guys for clear explanation of what is happening. The info i wrote was from another sours, it is sucks. Sorry guys, for asking again, but just to me sure that everything is correct.
As you mentioned above:The main devices that may be affected by this issue are optical drives. The performance degradation issue is tied to the amount of use the SATA 3G ports receive, and since a large portion of users don’t use their optical drives on a regular basis; this further reduces the likelihood of performance degradation. I am not sure what does it means, i am not pro, i am beginner, but if i would buy p or h 67 motherboard, is it gonna work well, or not. Other websites such as dell, cyberpower took off those motherboard from sale. |

It will work perfectly fine.
Just to add further weight, Intel just announced that they are going to continue offering the B2 (original) stepping of the support chip that had the issue.
