First and foremost, thanks go out to all of you that assisted me in making my new monitor purchase decision! I ended up going with the Samsung, 226BW. I just received it the other day, and I just yesterday hooked it up to my currant system (P4 2.6 G, 1.5 G RAM, 256 MB video card). All I can say is ‘wow’. I have it attached to the digital output (never seen that before, my old monitor(s) have all been analog) and it is amazing! I played the Call of Duty demo on it and even with lower settings (which are max for this rig) at 1024 x 768 it looked amazing! I can only imagine how it will look on my new system! Oh, and as you that assisted me remember, I was replacing a 19 inch CRT and was afraid this might be too big. ITS NOT! Lol. I almost think now I should have gone 24 inch! Anyway, I am now thinking of getting a new keyboard. Can’t very well hook up an old HP keyboard to a smoking DSO system! I am looking at the Logitech, G15 Gaming Keyboard, the 2007 version, “Logitech 920-000379”. Any of you have any experience with this board?

The Razer keyboards are even better than the g15. So it's a matter of personal preference :)

Thanks for the input. Ya, Sky, the older G15 is like 30 bucks cheaper! I will check out the Razor line again, Kelly. Thanks.
Not to take anything away from you Sky, but Kelly, I just love the "Razer lycosa" keyboard!
And now everywhere I search for it, its out of stock. Even NewEgg is out of them! Razer's site says they have them but from what I have read, shipping from them is a nightmare.
Guess I will just have to wing it and buy from them... Unless either of you two wizards know of some obscure place selling them. Edited by Dog Lover - 24 Nov 2007 at 1:37pm |

Thanks for the input, aCi11i3s. I am seriously torn between the G15 and the new Razer lycosa. Can't find the Razer instock. The G15 is everywhere. I will keep reading and leaning and searching and see what I end up with.
