That looks like a lovely build. However, I would recommend upgrading to the Samsung 980 PRO for your main SSD. It only costs $77 more, and it's about 3 times faster than the one you have selected. :)
When your in the storage configurator, click on the "More Info" button to see the read/write speed for each SSD. Edited by JamesAstro - 11 Dec 2022 at 10:06pm |

Same as above!
If you don't have a lot of productivity type uses, the CPU is way over-powered for gaming. Believe it or don't, the 13600KF they offer is all the proc you'll need for the next 5 or 6+ years. Just look here: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-13900K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-13600KF/4129vsm1950757 That's primarily a gaming comparison. You really want to pay $480 for 6%? If you have some heavy lifting, then be my guest, but it needs to be heavy. The OS Boost is widely considered a waste these days. Truth is, it's a throwback the the early days when Win might hog RAM and slow your system. That doesn't happen even with 16 GB of RAM, and you have 32. Hope it helps. |
