Big%20smilehi everyone, my new supersystem arrived safe and is up and running. This vista OS is driving me nuts though ahhhh. Um.... this is such a dumb ques but please tell me how to send my pictures to the file manager with vista I have quite a few in a file named ds. I cant believe I am having problems I used to be a programmer at EDS ( eds used its own language though) and set up a whole GM FACTORY man how times and tech have changed since 1995. I feel so stupid someone simplify the picture sending thing. My review is all positive. The only problem was a dent which happened in shipping but DS totally made it up to me THANKS ABUNCH they have the best customer service hands down. Well I have pictures but I cant seem to get them here LOLOLOLOLOL. My whole review and times to follow once I get Vista figured out. Im so wired right now ( I drank 2 cans of "cocaine energy drink")

Dead  Yeah I'll probably have a learning curve when my system hits my front porch (hopefully by this time next week).

Yea i havent been able to upload pictures to this site for a while now..i dunno why...I dont really care all that much though lol.
 
Vista takes a while to get used to especially if youve been using XP for years. There are a few things that vista really irritates me still though....like how the shut down is in a drop down menu next to a button that looks like shut down, but its actually sleep mode.....and the program listing bar is just horrible, luckly they have a classic mode to make the old XP system menu listing..

I noticed the case is different from the first system I got. There is no outside radiater. Is that a newer version?

Great news that you're back up! Sounds like they modified the air flow then.

My benchmark score is P 21074 with the GPU at 18039 and the CPU at 42561 Its fast but the fastest on record is at 30000

Keep in mind the fastest on record was probably just on a test bench cooled with liquid nitrogen and probably only worked long enough for that benchmark to run lol.

If you notice the system will just fit in the hole where I have the APC battery backup in the middle of the computer desk. Do you think the air flow would be cut off if I crammed it there and moved the APC unit or should I leave it where it is on the side next to the desk?

I threw in a picture of my old Dell. Even though the only things left original on it was the case and the mombo everthing else was upgraded on it. What a waste of money that was upgrading that POS. Lets see I upgraded the processor from a 1.5 to a 2.5 with an adapter. I maxed out the ram with 4 512's I changed the power supply. I changed the video card 4 times, the sound card twice. And replaced the hard drive and put in a sony and plex drive. Yup I was bored. Damn I could have bought 2 DS systems for that. Stupid is as stupidCry does

Seriously beautiful system man. I'm glad DSO got you squared away. I remember reading how frustrated you were after going through the price changes and then the shipping damage the first time out. It's good to see a happy ending. Ouch

 Hey DS, My buddy is telling me I dont have the WD velocerapter  HD at 10000rpm s I am suppose to have. I ordered 2 300GB of them with a 500GB regular drive.It does show 4 hard drives where I should only have 3. Is he crazy? Dang it do I have to now take it apart to see? I am looking at the properties but it doesnt say the speed. How can I tell without physically pulling out and looking at the harddrives? I just want to shut him up. Did you give me 2 150s or did U just split one into 2 discs?AHHHHHH. More to come. Please tell me I have the right drives I ordered

OK there is 3 like there is suppose to be, one is just split like I thought. I have 2 WDC W D30 OOGLFS 01F8U I believe those are the right ones. Good Jeez sorry he had me convinced for a second.

Yes, Vista makes me crazy too. It takes me 2 to 3 times more time to get anything done. Probably need more exposure to familiarize myself, or see if going back to Widows basic theme makes it easier for me to navigate. If it weren't for the ability to use 4+ Gigs of Ram I probably would not have bothered. But, I do have an unopened copy of XP Pro with SP2 sitting on a bookshelf just in case. And what a resource hog Vista is compared to the XP Pro setup I run right along side of it on another box.
 
Anyway, I notice in the first picture of your case what looks to be 2 MS license labels on the right side of the box. Is it a dual boot with XP?
