Just curious how the new i7 stacks up on a 3d mark score. Mine is P21853 but thats only at 3.8 OCed I know it could do much better with 2 nvidia 280s in sli running the 9770 core exteme.I see a lot of people Oced thiers to a score of P25000 or more with a slower processor then mine. Still running great its been almost 3 months now I just was too impatient to wait for the new i7s. I am thinking of pushing mine to 4GHz is it very hard thing to do? And will it still be stable? Just look at my pics here and U can see I have everything on it.

4.0 shoud be easily achievable for you PG1 but from a few links people have posted, the 920 is beating thye qx9770

Well I got a third GPU being installed so that will push the score up plus the new nvidia drivers pushed it to 24000 which really surprised me. But now I will have $9000 into this rig. For that price it should be pushing 30000 for a score

If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying to have a third card installed?  Are you LCing it as well?  I have close to the same rig as you and just curious about the upgrade.

Yes I am liquid cooling it. But DS quoted me something like $730 for the 3rd card and the liquid cooling. I asked them for a discount of some kind since now the price of my computer (I ordered Aug 28th 2008) is over $9000 now,but I havent got the final bill yet. Had to send it in for a cooling problem and when investigating the problem I found the wrong memory was installed by mistake (I paid for dominator memory and a cheaper version was installed) and it was found my GPUs were still at factory times when I paid to have them OCed. So now besides the cooling problem I asked them to install the right memory and give me a credit for the GPUs not being OCed. So since I was sending it in I figured I would go ahead and upgrade to a 3rd GPU.
