Hello,

Recently I got my new pc from DS. I can not express in words, how pleased I am with it. I will definitely buy the second rig from DS, when the time comes! It works great! Ran crysis 2 maxed out and crysis 1. No lag at all. I would like to say a big thank to all of you, who helped me with my computer! I really appreciate your help guys. Keep it up! BTW, I cannot post pics now, (waiting to get my new iphone 4G, which has better camera over 3G) As soon as I will get it, I will post asmany pics, as you guys would like!

A few Questions:

In the Bios setting, I found that VCCIO is set to 1.20000v as max voltage, but the system supports only 1.7000v, as it says in the bios. Current speed is at 1.205v. Same with my VCCSA, it set to 1.20000, bios limit is still 1.7000v max. Current work at 1.200v. Why did DS put those setting if they are not supported by mobo? Also, in the different tutorials, people did not touch those settings at all, because of the little overcklock. So, should I change those settings ot leave it as it is? I would really appreciate your help guys. Feel free to improve me, if I am wrong.

Thank you, Regent Square

My cpu voltage is 1.152, working at 3.9 ghz.

Leave it as it is, I'm sure DS had their own reasoning, for the best answer you can call DS and speak to the person that oced your pc and they can explain to you why they set those.

Thanks for advice. I have a last question, regarding boot drives: the boot drive is set to the optical drive and the second boot drive is set to the intel 120 gb ssd, is it how it should be?
Also, while the start up, it says that there is no physical drive, does anyone know what it means? Thank you

If I understand you correctly you are getting the no physical drive prompt because your fist boot is the optical, change your boot order so that the OS drive is first to boot off of.

I changed it, no results, still saying no physical drive. My intel ssd and hdd are both plugged into native intel 6GB/s ports. May it be because of that?

I can boot into windows and my hard drives are displayed and work properly. The only thing i have is that, while start up, it says that there is no physical drive.

That is a situation I am in, no other problems.

Oh I think I know what you are talking about, that is part of the mobo bootup sequence, forget that, I was thinking you are getting the no physical drive error cause it could not find your os drive.

So, that it is how it should be, or in order to resolve the problem I have to reinstall mobo drivers or connect hdd to the another port?

No, I think its something in the bios, it probably checking one of the controllers that has nothing installed on it, or something like that, it has nothing to do with drivers and etc, its in the bios if I'm not mistaken, but I'm not familiar with your mobo.

try DS techs or asus, one of them should be able to tell you what to turn off in the bios to get ride of that, or you can just ignore it, just to be clear, you boot the pc, it goes thru boot up process and at one point it says no drives found and then moves pass that and goes to windows eventually right?

Yep, probably it is better to ignore it. Who knows, what will happen if I will disable something in bios. I heard that after someone disabled it, his pc did not find a harddrive, so I will better leave it. BTW, should I keep my boot set up 1 from ssd and second from cd rom? Cause DS, put cd rom originally as a 1 boot device.

Thanks

Also, I have a question, regarding my graphic card, gtx 570. At idle it is 38 degrees Celsius, but at load the temperatures jump up to 75-80. That seems pretty high.

75-80 is fine.. The 570 is designed to run at that temp on full load.

570's max temp is 97c but typically we like to have load temps under 85c, prefer under 80c.

once you are above 85c then its time to worry, make sure you fan is at 100% when under full load.

Oh, so I have to deal with MSI afterburner and set fan profile there? i did it once already and what happened was that every time I closed msi, my fan speed came back to stock. When I open it, fan speed goes up immediately. So I have to keep msi afterburner open in order to fan to work at the speed I set it?

Thanks

the fan might die, you want to set a chart so that it goes to 80 - 100% when you hit 80c, that way you get better temps, and the fan is not working hard when the temps are low.
