I noticed that DS only use XFX for video card...wonder why they don't offer EVGA?  again nice pictures and rig...how's loud the whole system overall?

I thought the same thing after i opened it  cause i thought i would get EVGA, i would prefer it but i dont care for my first system. i like the look of it though....................... It actually isnt loud at all ... im tryin to think of somethin to compare the noise to.. ummmm i dunno but i have a small fan on by my bed on the other side of the room and i can barely  just hear a small humming from the Computer and its right next to where i sit so its not loud at all...... so i guess if you have a small fan for your room or somethin and set it on low or medium and listened to it from accross the room thats how much noise this makes sitting ear level to it.... best  example i can think of for now lolBig%20smile

Yeah i dont mind the Xfx  Alex its all preference anyways and this is my first Rig so i have none lol! im not a picky person so dont worry about gettin a phone call about wanting EVGA written on the side of the Card as long as its the 2x 275 im cool with it

Yeah the bass is pretty good... not bad at all,... only problems i had with it is when i went in to change the output to 5.1 from 2.1 and the speakers went dead and i couldnt figure out why, i restarted it and they work ..... and the volume doesnt really kick in until like half way but with the PC volume and the Volume control from the x540 there is plenty of adjustment... and like most people say the Speaker cords are short as hell but buy extensions at radio shack. good to go... i would buy them if i were anyone lookin for awesome speakers for a low price compared to the other ones

oh yeah and one more thing.... if you are wanting to use the x540 for xbox360 or PS3 or whatever....  the way mine is setup is.. I have a headphone-to-RCA cord, so i plug it into the monitor headphone jack and plug the console adapter to that and  have it ran behind the Tower. so when i play XBOX i just unplug the green plug ( there is Green, black, and orange ) from the back of the sound card and plug it into the adapter and your good to go, not complicated or messy lookin so.... Buy, RCA cable extensions, and a Headphone-to-RCA(male) and your good to go
