I had bought my previous rig from another source about 6 years ago and after extensive research online I choose Digital Storm. Why? Mainly because DSO had an active forum, so after browsing the forum and seeing how helpful everyone was I decided this was THE place. So I did the usual checked - Outside Link Removed - and the BBB, which in turn reconfirmed my decision and I couldn't be happier!
Comparing the other company and DSO is like comparing apples to oranges you can't. The attention to detail and customer service is phenominal. So with the help of a couple helpful people(DST4ME and corybo...Thanks guys) I came up with the above configuration.Once the FedEx guy came and dropped off the "Mistress"(a name my wife chose). I was impressed with the size of the box!!! The packaging is great everything DSO promised was delivered neatly and without damage...impressive considering it traveled 2800 miles!
Once out of the box I inspected the "Mistress". I was taken away with the wire management and the neatness of the rig...extremely clean!
Once everything was setup I gave it a test run everything seemed to work ok until I started playing a couple games. The colors looked like they were running together and I had a green SLI line down the left hand of my screen. Then after 4 or so hours my monitor went black. I posted in the forums for a fix of the green line got an answer and couldn't find the resolution so I call DSO, left a message and was called back within an hour! The result my monitor.....so after a trip to Best Buy with a new monitor in hand I came back and set it up...amazingly no black screen the green line fix was simple also unticked both boxes in 3D settings and everything has been running flawless since. Games run extremely smooth on the highest settings and programs load up extemely fast!!!
The only negative thing I can really say and it's not DSO's fault is the side fan on the HAF X ticks. I inspected the fan thinking it is a bearing, but upon further review it's the plastic filter between the outter part of the case and the fan. The fan is brushing against the filter, design flaw on the part of Cooler Master?
Props Digital Storm you hit it out of the park on this build and definately have gained a customer for life!! I could not be happier!!
Pics to follow this post...Sorry for the wall of text just extremely excited!

Looks awesome!
I have a somewhat similar setup, I definitely think you are going to be pleased in the long run with your purchase. That side fan might be something you can fix (or it could be a defect with your case). I haven't noticed any clicking with my side fan thus far. |

Would it kill Noctua to use a color scheme that actually works with...well...anything? Two black fans would look real sharp in there.
Ah, well, it doesn't take anything away from the powerhouse you've got there. Congrats on the new comp. May it bring you many hours of enjoyment :) |

i had same issue with my side fan 45.....after a few days mine quit making the noise.....mine was like plastic spinning against plastic....it's fine now though I ended up taking the fan off and flipped the screen, which was bowed in causing the fan to rub, so my issue is resolved also. It's almost "whisper" quiet now! |

Your worries will be put to rest once you see the box they ship it in, it's extremely durable cardboard. Also thier packaging is extremely good the thing wont budge when in the box, so no worries I'm sure it will be A-OK...At least I would hope so. It went coast to coast in the US and made it safe.
