I know I waited 3 months before doing this, but I wanted all the kinks out of the system before i wrote about it.

First off, the system runs great, and takes everything I thorw at it.  Everything worked day one, and I still have not had a part of the system go bad (except for one of the leg stands on the case, but thats because I knocked it loose while moving the rig up to my apartment :D).

All the parts of the system were well documented, and every install disk was included, which I wish more comapnies would do with their rigs,,,Even the GFX driver disk contained a recent driver (174.xx), which was good, as the new 175 driver caused me a ton of issues.  One of those little touches which saved me a major headache.

OC is a bit conservative (3.0 to 3.375), but is 100% stable, and theres a lot of wriggle room to improve that myself a bit.  The water cooling for the CPU works great, I still haven't seen Realtemp hit 45 degrees.  Even the GFX card (once fan overridden to 85%) doesn't get much above 85, which is great for a 9800GX2.  Those two top fams on the 950i case do their job.

Heck, even FedX got my PC from California to NY in 5 shipping days.  (At the same time, a component I brought from Jersey took another two weeks to arrive :D).

My only real complaint were the minor incompatabilites with my Nforce motherboard and my Creative X-FI ExtemeGamer.  Guess thats one of the reasons why other brands are offered now though...

I give DigitalStorm a 9/10 rating.  Everything is in proper working order, and the only issue I had (onboard sound drivers) was quickly resolved.  When Quads become obsolete (lol?) ill almost certainly come back here for my next uber PC.

What type of GX2 did you get? Was it a Zotac!? ARG! lol. i hated mine so bad. It artifacted even at stock settings. And the auto fan would be cranked up to 100 in almost any game about on graphic par as HL2...aka not very much these days.

With my 280s ive yet to even hear the fans kick up....never...i think the auto fan is broken or something..lol...

We have had less issues with Zoatac video cards than eVGA or XFX.

SunfighterLC, looks like yours a bad fluke though. Anyways, we will always take care of it. Thats the reassurance our customers get with buying from Digital Storm.

Just a heads up,
Alex
