well i bought my rig 1/2 year ago and im having odd issues with my internet. also this does not have to do with my modem because my other computer does not have the same problem. I will be just on Firefox or something and when i try to access a webpage about 1/4 the time it will show the genuine no internet page. even though at the bottom right it says my internet is doing fine. this comes in waves, it will not let me access anything for 3 minutes but then il be fine for 15 minutes. it does the same thing with games. if im looking for a server it may not display any, for a while. but once i get into a server/get onto wow, there is no further problems. i have had geek squad/comcast come over and there all bullsh*t. comcast said. "maybe your eithernet cord is bad"(yes i do play wired)/ Geek squad come over and created a new network. something i could have done in 10 mins. both fixed nothing.
these are the 2 suggestions-New modem/have geek squad do some anti virus program.
any help would be very appreciated

Try using the Windows Restore utility to revert your system back to a time when you were not having this issue? Here's a guide if you need help: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

Keep in mind by doing a restore you will lose any changes you have done/made after that restore point.

I would start with checking your system and making sure its clean.

what anti virus and anti spyware do you have? are they upto date and have you done a full scan with them?
