Looks good. That should work for two years and be able to max most current games out. I see you've selected Stage 3 cooling - you'll get more out of the overclock if you go with the A1 revision motherboard. Will put you just over 2000 probably but won't break the bank. You can also upgrade to 1066 RAM to maximize the overclock, but that will be more expensive.

Otherwise, looks good!

I would pass on the case lighting and upgrade to Vista premium.

Ahah, The Oregon thing could be a seriouse option soon enough...

Now I use a laptop with premium on it for everything but gaming, is premium worth the extra couple bucks from a purely gaming standpoint? I didnt skip it from a budget perspective... more of a keep it simple idea... less graphical gui crap to run in the background....
Am I mistaken?

Vista Premium has more features but it won't slow down your PC at all. I would go with the Premium version since it doesn't cost much more than the basic version and you'll have Media center along with other things. Your video card won't break out a sweat even when running the Aero interface. Vista premium has almost the same services running in the background as Basic and you can safely disable quite a few of these services too.
