I don't understand why you can post tech support related questions on the tech support forum.
Ok, I've had nothing but trouble with my system since I first got it in November, things weren't right, so I sent it back and had it re-built with a new case and stage 4 cooling. As soon as I got it back things were wrong, every wire to the motherboard was backwards, come on guys, they're labeled + & - and you had them on wrong. Then a month ago the PSU started cutting out on me so I replaced it. I wasn't about to spend another $140- shipping it back and forth to fix something I could do in a few minutes. I haven't done a new review because I don't have anything positive to say.
Then I got on these boards and discussed the issue of not being able to see the water flow. Justin said it's rarely a problem and pumps last 5-10 years. Well guess what, my pump just quit!! I started suspecting something when I put a dye bomb in it and the color stayed in the reservoir. Now the pump comes on a few seconds then cuts out, on a few more then totally cuts out. I should have known because the LED in the back of the res only lasted about a week and it's on the same Molex as the pump,
I need to know what kind of pump it is. I tried to take the reservoir out but whoever put it in stripped one of the screws and it took me about 3 hours to coax it out. The pump says Swiftech on it but the model number is 35 and then the last number is partially scratched off. When I tried to look it up the only one I could find with these markings was discontinued last year. It's one that is attached to the bottom of an XS/PC reservoir. Water from the cpu goes into the top of the res and then out of the pump connector to the rad, out the rad & into the res. So the pump sits under the res sucking water through it's impeller and into the outlet tube. I've looked all over and I can't find a swiftech setup like this at all.
I'll have to go out and get something temporary until I can get someone from DS to respond.

It looks like an MCP 355 but the top plugs right into the reservoir, if you take the top off the 355 there will be no tubes to connect to. I also don't know the size of the tubing or the type. I'd like to have some extra in case something goes wrong with this tubing, it did get scalding hot!
