   Are there any good sites out there for gamers? 
I am trying to find an idea for a webpage.

A few things I would like to do.

Personal profile 
Dating 
Discussions about the game they play 
Links to there guild 
links to there gear / characters 
A place to meet people in your area to set up LAN parties 
Meet people with same interest as you. Gamers have wierd tastes and most other people think playing games is childish :)
I went to my gym today to cancel my membership due to it has changed while I was away and I dont like it anymore, well i hear these two girls beind the counter(attractive) talking about WoW and stuff, I'm like  there has to be a place to find these people. I overheard she liked WoW and anime, pretty much a match for me :) So, where do I find these people in my area becsides spamming shout in the game I play. I have to go back up there, so If I see her, will be asking her out no doupt.

	Xfire is probably the closest thing to what you're talking about. Not so much for dating. It has an IM interface, lists friends, what game they're playing and what server they're on, etc. You might want to look into starting something like this. Get it trademarked before one of us steals your idea. Edit: I did a google search for "Myspace for gamers" and it came up with a bunch of sites. 	The best way to meet people with the same interests as you are to attend lan events such as MLG or actively participate in forums. Large sponsered teams usually have personal profiles and blogs because they love their community. eg. Nihilum, SK-Gaming Gameriot is also very popular among the gaming trolls and drama whores.
	The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

	Aich, not to patronize, but the best way to get a girl's attention is always going to be talking to her face, if you overhear them, just say what you would say in the forum, that you like WoW too.. etc dont want to get too far off topic but i can tell you that any girl will have a lot more respect for you if you approach them in person than attempting to do so through a page like myspace, etc

	Yea I known that lol, thanks tho I am mearly trying it find a webage idea that I will enjoy making. I do web desgign at my work and would like a good project to do on the side.
