Since NVIDIA has changed their designation for their latest card from 780 to Titan. What do you think NVIDIA should call would should be the 770?

So they've actually stated that the 700 series is not going to have that naming scheme? I thought the Titan was a side-series, unrelated to the standard progression of the GTX family.

My understanding is the GTX Titan is what would have been called the GTX 780 but I could be wrong.

at close to $1000 bucks a pop, that seems like a weird step to take. it would make new nvidia cards basically inaccessible to the vast majority of gamers

True but when you take into account its a single card with dual gpu card power, then its hard to say that is not incredible at this time.
If FAH supported it properly, it could do some great work, I think the biggest problem is gonna be that they don't make many so people like myself will stay away cause what am I suppose to do when I need a replacement. |

yeah its definitely the most powerful GPU in the market right now. i think theyre calling it a "supercomputer graphics card".
but i still think there will be a 7xx series of GPUs. there needs to be medium level cards that the average person can buy |
