You say you have a $4000 top-end budget, but you have made some price/performance compromises which aren't in your interest. I could suggest a build which will stay well under $4000, but allow you to get the best components and the best performance for the money, but we need to clarify a few points if you could.

If you want to get the most out of that 1440p monitor, you need at least an RTX 2070. The 1070 Ti is just not as good, and the difference is only $56.

I don't know if you want an AMD setup, or if you were saving $. To give you better performance that will be solid well into the future, you can go with either AMD or Intel at about the same price point, so, it's up to you. If you want to see both, I can do that, or choose one.

I also don't know if you realize the Velox has the glass on the opposite side (right as you're looking at the front), and that the motherboard will be upside down so you can still see your components through the window. If that's not to your liking, you can save $174 getting the Lumos case.

Please come back with some answers so we can help out better. What I'm looking at for you is around $3200-ish all-in, including all your peripherals. If that's really too high, we could do better without messing it up too much

Okay, so you didn't answer any of the questions? The issues asked about are pretty central to your build.

Here are two examples, one AMD and one Intel. The parts are chosen for brand name warranty and dependability. They both come out around $3245 or so with a discount on the case, Win 10 PRO, red fans, and all your peripheral picks.

Config ID 2161686 Intel

Config ID 2161693 AMD (Ryzen)

You copy JUST the number and paste it in the box that opens when you choose "Load Config" in the upper right corner of the Digital Storm main page.

IMO, it's really important that you understand the difference between the Velox and the other cases as I explained above. Not only is the Lumos cheaper, but if you're expecting to be able to see your computer's insides and then the window's on the wrong side, it might be a bummer.

Come back with any questions.

There's really very little difference performance wise between those two builds. If you had not started out with AMD yourself, I would have recommended Intel because for a very long time, it's been the leader. The difference is usually cost nowadays, but these builds are virtually the same price. I would choose Intel, but either will do the job.

Either of these two set-ups will do great for you for a very long time...several years. Good luck.
