 So here is my question I have a EVGA gtx 770 reference card I can return it no problem have not even opened it yet. The rig I just got from DS has the ASUS 770 DirectCU 11 with the 2 fans, I am going to SLI.  Will the 2 ASUS cards do well in SLI even though the heat does not exit the case or do I return the ASUS card to DS and get another EVGA reference card for SLI thank you for the help

I don't remember what case you were using, but as long as you have proper cooling (good air flow), I'd go with the ASUS cards as they are faster than the EVGA ones...
