Yeah it's always worth it to put a decent heatsink on the CPU IMHO. I'd get the standard Noctua NH-U12P SE2 (it performs really well and is pretty quiet at the same time) if I were you. Intels stock heatsink is pretty bad; not so great performance and the mounting system isn't the best.
I'd change that power supply to a Corsair one. At least go to JonnyGuru.com and check out the reviews for the power supplies your contemplating. I think you'll see that the corsair's outperform the coolermaster's by at least a little bit. If you want more help from other members I'd post your budget and they can steer you in the right direction if you need to. |

Get the Coolermaster GT V-6 Like I did see my review with pics. You can select Red/Blue/ or blue with red tracer outlines as your color and the fan is just beautiful and keeps it super cool like the ugly Noctua fans.

If you're not overclocking, then the standard fan should be fine. BUT:
1) You'd be silly not to overclock as the current Intel chips overclock really well and you're leaving a lot of performance on the table if you don't OC. 2) Even if for some odd reason you decide not to overclock now, you always have the ability to do so in the future if you get a better cooler now. 3) Even if for some insane reason you decide to never overclock, a better heatsink will make your stock CPU run even cooler under load than the standard heatsink, potentially extending the life of the CPU. |
