$2487
http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=210458 GTX 280 doesn't justify the $200 over GTX 260+. You can get SLI GTX 260+ if you play at 1920x1200 resolution or above. |

You said your current config was a little too pricey for you but you didn't mention a budget so I kept the costs down.
Liquid cooling isn't necessary as air does just fine in cooling components as long as you don't cover your pc in a blanket. It's totally up to the user if they want to spend the extra for liquid cooling. 750W is enough to power a single GTX 260+ and gives you room to add another one if you decide to. Even 650W is enough for a single card. Having two drives is ideal for data security. One for the operating system / software while the other one keeps data. If something went wrong with your operating system, you can reformat without losing all your data. It's totally up to you again, you can use one drive if you don't have a lot of important data to store =p |

only reason i chose LC is cause you will get a better overclock with it. It is not necessary and is total the customers choice, it will just increase your OC speed thats all.

Not much of a difference.
ESA is only available on nvidia chipsets so that's out of the question with a core i7 build. |

gpu and ram help but very little, you can oc your gpu yourself its very easy.
the ram is not so important. DS does not garuntee any OC speeds but I think they said upto 3.5GHz possible with 920 |

GPU overclocking isn't going to show noticeable increases if you game at under 1920x1200.
