So im posting this on here hoping that i get some legit responses by tomorrow sometime, not likely to get comments at midnight to noon tomorrow. Anyway, my girlfriend just purchased a marauder level 2 to play some simple games on and i kept telling her she needs a wireless card with it that she needs to purchase separately. She kept putting it off and putting it off and the delivery is tomorrow. Normally i would say just wait another day, but she has some video editing that she needs done from her old computer that is broken. All in all she needs to download some stuff and needs access to the internet tomorrow on the marauder. Basic question is what type of wireless card should i get her, she has to stay home to wait for delivery (family thing) and i dont know much about wireless. I know 802.11a/g/n and n is the fastest, i also think 300mbps is standard or good im not sure, and i cant seem to find anything that will tell me what the best wireless card or usb wireless thing is the best, i need something from staples or wal-mart as they are the only stores near me, will a card work inside the marauder? is the usb wireless the way to go, she has verizon, should she get the usb with the little stand and the antennae or something... thanks anyone who can reply!!

Hi Krum813.     Never used a wireless card, but for my older pc I bought the D Link 150 N USB wifi adapter, DWA 125, that just plugs into a usb port.  Not sure what your local stores will have.
It comes with a cradle so the dongle doesn't have to hang off the port.  I believe xfer speed is 150mbps.  They do have faster ones, but never had a problem with this one . I haven't used it for huge files or online gaming.

Hope this helps and good luck.

THat's a good suggestion, a USB wireless device is the best solution, plus, you can use it for other computers/etc as well in the future when needed.

If you want something more permanent, just purchase a PCI-E wireless card, NewEgg can sort results based on reviews, and you can buy one that has good reviews and a good fair price.

Hope this all helps!

So i had my gf hop on here and take a look at your post, she found a netgear usb adapter and she looked for the cradle thing on it, its got 300mbps, after a bit of tinkering we got it working. Thanks bprat, once again the DS community is better than... well every other xp
