Okay I just bought a digital storm computer. I went and bought a sound card(Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Professional) they offer. Now here's where it gets tircky, I install everything drivers in all. I got a Sennheiser headset(non usb) I plug in the headset audio in green and the mic in the blue inline/mic on the back of the soundcard.

Now I got sound, but when going into counter-strike or ventrilo with a hotkey bound the mic doesn't work. Now when go to the audio control panel and change the flexijack from inline to microphone. I hear everything through my mic even when I'm breathing.

How do I get my mic to work but only when on command(pushing a hotkey)

This is something you're going to have to play with a bit.  I believe the line in/mic in setting needs to be checked in your sound panel.  When you talk now in the mic, can you hear yourself coming through the head-set?

Correct. When I click inline over to microphone when I talk I hear myself.

When I was gaming in the clan I had this issue too.  We used Team Speak, and in the program itself, there were some sound settings.  If I remember correctly, I had to make an adjustment or two within the TS sound option to get it to work right.  The funny thing was, I actually thought it was kinda cool to hear myself talking through the set.  However, I couldn't stand hearing another player breathing through his set.  It's been a long time since I messed with that, but I do remember I just had to play with some of the options until I got the right sequence down.

Which comm program are you using....Teamspeak or Ventrillo?
Don't know much about Ventrillo....but you can set up a hotkey in Teamspeak.
