If you are willing to make a few concessions, but still keep your power, then I'd bump down the 580's to 570's. The performance difference between the two set ups at that resolution is negligible, but the price sure isn't.

Here is a more modest, but extremely powerful build that will still rip through games at your res.

Keep in mind that the Maximus motherboard I chose is only there because it is required to get the stage 3 overclock. If you are willing to "settle" for the stage two OC (-$30), which is 4.5-4.8 ghz, you can save yourself $169 by dropping down to a deluxe mobo. At the point you can even drop the Liquid cooling. If you still want 580's you can add them to this build for an additional $238.

I know this may seem like penny pinching, and with your budget you may not be that worried about the price, but I just wanted to be thorough and give you as many options as possible. Hell, you might even want to check out the Ultimate ODE prebuilt system. That system gives you a Stage 3 OC, and 570 SLI, all for $2500. Options never hurt.
