You can do both within your budget. With a system like yours, Your first choice should be another NVMe M.2 SSD if your motherboard has a slot available. Go shopping. I have recently read very good things about the WD SN850 Black. 2TB NVMes should be available around $250.

Crucial offers a system RAM upgrade tool here:

https://www.crucial.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw1bqZBhDXARIsANTjCPLA8Mm0Phtg2WspNd7fVxiRn2qL8u5STaRfCbIflJqYYmhdUXM4zr4aAr_EEALw_wcB&cm_mmc=google-_-us-_-brand-_-dram&ef_id=Cj0KCQjw1bqZBhDXARIsANTjCPLA8Mm0Phtg2WspNd7fVxiRn2qL8u5STaRfCbIflJqYYmhdUXM4zr4aAr_EEALw_wcB:G:s&gclsrc=aw.

You don't have to buy Crucial RAM to use the tool. If your current set isn't very old, look at the sticks and see what it is, or ask DS. If you have the slots, you may be able to just add another 16GB. Adding RAM has to match.

You will find YouTubes online to walk you through the upgrades. DS tech support can also help you if you get stuck.

Hope it helps.
