Budget is around 2,300ish...
Well the pc is this I know for sure...534866 But I have a couple of quick questions...I'll be ordering soon at the end of May. My big question is which graphics card option should I pick??? I was wondering should I go with 2 crossfire 6950's or just a single gtx 570? For a little more money it seems like I could get a better machine with better graphics but I'm not too sure... Also my monitor is kind of confusing, I don't want to buy one from anywhere else and if someone could show me a good monitor from like bestbuy or something I was looking at some LG monitors in town that are IPS panels. I want a 1920x1080 resolution and the standard dvd driver that comes with the desktop, can it burn DL games? Thanks for everything! |

Well first we need to know the res, the LC IPS monitor I saw was not great.
here is a good one: Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23 not sure if bestbuy carries it. If you know how to oc the 6950 to match the 6970 go ahead if not go with one 570 and that build allows for another to be added if you need it. However you want to change mobo to deluxe. |

Can I know why I need the deluxe...could I just go with the sabertooth I'm.trying to save as much money as possible...and I am not sure how to make it.seem as a 6970 so I will go ahead and just a get a single 570. On the monitor is there any one that you could.reccommend that's around 250? Led perferred |

Wait DST can you shed some light on me for this? I saw some benchmarks of crossfire 6950's and it beat the 570 by quite a bit so should I just go for them??? I could find out how to flash it to a 6970...so I might go that route...

Not sure where you saw but 90% of the time stock 570 kills a 6950, its not even a comparison, to oc the 6950 to match 6970, you need to flash the bios, in short null the warranty, just fyi.
the deluxe is $16 more and it has more pci lanes, in sli with the sabertooth, you have room for no other cards, sound, usb, tv, wireless, esata, etc. I don't recommend TN panels, so I couldn't begin to tell what to get. I can tell you that a $250 TN panel can't hold a candle to an IPS panel. Edited by DST4ME - 05 May 2011 at 1:54am |

If it has the same Viewing Angle, both vertical and horizontal, and is at or above 170°, then it should be ok.
but I have never been an LG fan at all. |

Ok I've got a couple of more questions, this one is kind of stupid as I know you dont work for DigitalStorm but could they order the monitor for dell and just ship it with the pc? I just dont want to order from 2 different places if I went with the ultrasharp, and also I've read around that the asus-PRO can support sli so why would I need to get the deluxe? |

They have the M-pro, and not just the pro, the m-pro is a micro mobo and in sli will leave you with not other pci lanes for upgrades, you can't add other pci cards like sound card/wireless card/usb/esata/tv/etc.
It will cost you more if DS does/will order it for you. Edited by DST4ME - 08 May 2011 at 3:27pm |

It goes on sale a lot, I've seen it as low as $230 but not that often, most often $279, and some times $250.
I'm gonna try to keep people informed of sales for it here in this thread: http://digitalstormonline.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=14466 Edited by DST4ME - 08 May 2011 at 6:34pm |
