Looking to get a new gaming rig. Budget is 2,500-3,000. Used for Gaming 100%. Any big difference in the 2600 and 2700 chip? Should i just get the 1 video card or is the SLI worth it? Any suggestions?

Hi postalworker....The build Astrotechnics gave you is the way to go.
I don't think it pasted over correctly. The 647011 when I looked comes up with A70 cooler and GTX 570 1.2GB gpus, which is the right on. Sli is recommended if you want to Max out all settings on games like BF3, etc, on 23" screen with 1920x1080. For 1680x1050, sli does give you room to grow. Don't forget free t-shirt
