I need tips on OC ASUS P6T Deluxe with i7 965 CPU.  I would like to OC mine to 4 Ghz and keep it stable. My cooler is Coolit Domino ALC.  I currently OC my CPU at 3.8 Ghz with voltage of 1.38.

LOL he does not need to go to another forum we could help him here, but I think since DS is warranting the OC, its best to let them do for him and in the process he can learn also.

otherwise all he needs to do is take up the multiplier one or raise the fsb

Well, I run some Prime 95 and Real Temp and the limitation for my overclock is at 3.8 Ghz. I think I am fine with this clock speed.  I do not think the Coolit Domino ALC can keep my CPU stable at 4 Ghz.

This is true, but it does raise your E-peen. And you get that good feeling of saying you have a 4ghz overclock. Ouch

Hug

true. There isn't. 3.8 is close as I can get to 4 Ghz.  I noticed Overclockers who go over 4 Ghz either use liquid nitrogen  cooling

what was your highest temp?

you know your OC is fine if the temps don't go high during your usage

see what it does after 30 minutes to an hour of playing your games, I doubt going to 4.0 from 3.8 will make that much of a heat difference.

frostbite would have done it for you

82 degrees is pushing dangerously close to the 85 limit. I'd say your e-peen is just fine where it is. Ermm Push it much farther and you're gonna burn the tip. Clown
