Looking for advice on the following configuration.  Some game playing (1920x1080) and photo editing (Photoshop and Lightroom).  Thought about building my first PC, but leaning towards buying a DS setup.  I tend to want the latest and greatest, so my thought is this system will give me room and the availability to upgrade as necessary (i.e. add HDD, etc).

The media reader option shows it disables 2 USB ports.  Not sure this is a big deal since it also adds ports, but not sure I like having disabled ports on the front of an expensive system.  Is the loss of the ports a function of the case or the media card reader DS uses?  Thinking about buying one from Newegg and installing myself if its the type DS uses.

Thanks for your input.

I'm sure everyone caught this, but my max resolution is 1920x1200 (not 1920x1080).

I am sure DST will be around soon to tweak your build a bit, but I can answer the card reader question.
The mother board has 2 USB headers, each supporting 2 USB ports, a card reader  uses one header. oO yes, 2 USB ports will not work, and the card reader has one USB port on it.
Myself, I use an external card reader, and hook it up to one of the many rear USB ports, giving me a card reader and the 4 front USB's all working..
