I would like to know if anyone has the *Bigfoot Killer Network Card* and if you do; was it worth the xtra money; and what differences are you seeing using it.

I had alot of Lag on my DSL network; due to 3 desktops, 1 laptop & Xbox 360; not to mention VOICP phone; I was having major issues with lag on the phone; so I got a Hawking Booster; which increased my speed slightly; but it did more for managing the packets better thereby reducing all lag on the phone even if all of the above were online.

So I was wondering if this Bigfoot Card basically does the same thing; but maybe increases the speed more than slightly.  I have Verizon DSL if that makes a difference to you.

Thanks

I plan on doing research on the card as well; but still like to hear about personal user experience too.

it is NOT worth it to pay $288 for a network card.

THe card has a lot of stability issues and the drivers aren't updated that often

Have you talked to your ISP about this? Are you on a fastpath or interleave connection?

I spent almost a month on the phone with verizon; they had me checking my regular phone line; they even came out and checked the DSL line; etc; bottom line is no one could figure out what was wrong; then I started doing research and found out VOIP lag was a problem quite often; and that the Hawking Booster may be able to help.

So I went and bought the Booster; and it helped not only with speed; but I havent had any phone lag since then.  They said I just had 2 much going on with 1 desktop gaming; then the Xbox going thru the DSL Line; the Laptop; the Other Desktop which was always dowloading Music or Movies; it seems to be a common problem that's easily fixed for $60.00.  Verizon didnt have a clue.
