I previously asked for advice on a build budget of 3K. I am considering going higher on the budget and was looking for build advice/suggestions.

Budget:

Increasing the budget to $5000

Expectations:

Either going to use a monitor of 24"-27" probably the Dell Ultra sharp. Would like to create a system that gives me maxed graphics and frame rates

Usage:

Strictly gaming - Diablo, Crysis, Batman, etc.

Special Needs:

No special needs, might want a wireless setup. Was considering the ASUS wireless board.

Thanks in advance - Not sure if i want to go this high but wanted to see what I would gain if i do.

I went with the X79 Deluxe mobo for your WiFi and to tri-sli, gtx 680's.

You don't need the i7-3930k chip for gaming.  The i7-3820 for $300 cheaper would do it.

For the games you mentioned on a 27" 2560x1600 monitor a sli, 2x 680 would do it, but for maxed out gaming with Metro2033, etc and staying 60+ fps at all times then the tri-sli would be needed.  It's a bit of overkill for your games but wanted to show you something close to the $5000.

Hope this helps.Big%20Smile
