Budget:
$1200-3400

Expectations:
upgradable

Usage:
primarily survival games (Ark, 7 days to die)
upcoming RPG's (Ashes of Creation)
noob front-end coding, but that shouldn't have an impact great enough to worry about.

Special Needs:
would like to keep up with a dual monitor setup

Specifications:
Monitor(s) being used ASUS VG248QG (165Hz 1080p 0.5ms, TN panel)
or I can upgrade monitors as well for better experience gaming.

This what I would get in your price range.

The CPU is THE gamers choice. The others are overpowered, and make almost no difference.

I upgrade the mobo to a wi-fi model for betterfeatures, longevity, and thermal control.

I suggest 32 GB of RAM so you won't run short in the life of this rig. You don't have to have it now if you can upgrade when you want it. The DS branded is fine for gaming.

The 850W PSU should be all you need. The Corsair model gets you a 5 year warranty from Corsair that we tend to like.

I like a small, super-fast, NVMe SSD for your boot drive for easiest managing of OS, apps and maintenance software. Really fast scanning. The secondary storage is plenty fast for loading games, and will hold a lot of them.

The 3060 Ti is the best bang-for-buck GPU you can buy right now IMHO. It will be killer on your dual monitors. It will also be able to power an upgrade to 1440p with 90+ FPS in most games.

The dual fan cooler is great if you stick with the 12600K.

The fans look great in that case, but they're not necessary. You could choose the Lynx case and get the lighting for free. The Lumos has been the most popular choice around here.

Other budget cuts you could make would be to go 16GB of RAM and get a smaller secondary SSD and add more later. Dial back to a DS 850W PSU.

In a Lynx case, that looks like this:

Feel free to mix and match, but I advise you keep the CPU, mobo, cooler and GPU.

Hope it helps.
