Hi again AUSCPT Big%20Smile

That config number doesn't workCry

What size monitor and what resolution will you be playing at?

Do you want to max out games with all settings on ultra or is high on like a BF3 good?

The ODE 3 for your budget is impossible to beat.Big%20Smile

The whole ODE lineup, and you can see them under Products, Special Ops, are great bang for the buck,  They're pre-built allowing them to give the customer a good deal.

If you wanted a custom rig with better case, better power supply, cooler, etc you're talking about $3000.

Ode 3 has made lots of our forum members happy..

You mentioned Skyrim, one of my favorites, in other post and the ODE 3will play it great.

For a 24" monitor at 1920x1080 this will max things out.

The Dell 23 and 24" UltraSharp monitors are the favorites for gaming.  U2312M I believe.  Always wait for sales.  the sales save you lots of $$Big%20Smile

If you want to look at custom rig just let us know and someone will show you.

Thanks for the response. My monitor says it's 1920 by 1200, 1080p, never paid attention to it before.

I added a wireless card to my build, and I think I should add an SD card reader (presuming it doesn't come with one).

The case alone, meaning empty, is nearly 30lbs. With everything installed you can expect it to be around 40lbs or more. Full specs are 29lbs, 20" High; 24" Long; 11" Wide.

No computer should ever be kept inside those cubicles built into desk, worst invention ever, and you should avoid placing any computer under a desk in general. They should always be up off the floor and open on all sides, at the very least all sides that have in-take or exhaust fans.

I personally have my system on an old TV stand, some people put their rig on their desk if it's large enough. It's not just an air flow issue, all dust settles, so you floor will always collect the most dust as it's the largest surface area in your room on which dust settles. That dust gets kicked up by you walking and moving around the room. If you have pets it's even worse.

A serious system like this draws a lot more air for it's cooling so it will collect more dust and collect it faster then some pos off the shelf system that may only have one quiet, slow spinning, fan inside of it.
