Pretty good. I've got 2 things will make it better, and one pays for the other. The i5 13600KF is actually better for gaming and surfing than the more expensive chip, because that one wastes your money with cores and threads you'll never use.
https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-13700KF-vs-Intel-Core-i5-13600KF/m1925886vsm1950757 Save $134 and put $59 of it toward the Samsung 980 PRO 500GB SSD. It is over 3 times faster than the one you selected for way faster boot times, load times and execution of maintenance software. Everything else you do from the boot drive. Rig comes in at $3461. Think long and hard about the closed loop cooling. It's totally unnecessary for this processor. If you like to prowl around inside your system regularly and are comfortable with the idea of undoing caps and pouring liquid in there, have fun. You most likely will have to completely drain and refill the whole system a time or two (or 3) during the life of this machine. Odds are it won't leak, but it could. I never recommend this for anyone that's never dealt with it before, and if you don't think any of the above is something to look forward to. The best alternative is completely maintenance free and will last the life of your rig and beyond. save yourself any possible grief and $425. Get the Noctua air cooler, and all you'll ever have to do is dust it a little. It will keep your CPU within a few degrees of the liquid system on far less power and no worries. Hope it helps. ![]() |
