Hello, hopefully an easy solveable question.
I just got my new computer with the Bolt case. I had it come with a 3 TB hardrive..for steam games. I also got a 500 GB SSD for Windows 10. I have my old 1 TB SSD from my previous comp. with some files..IE: Pictures..videos...etc. I want to transfer those over to my new SSD. My only concern is my old SSD has windows 10 also installed on it. If i hook up my old SSD with the previous windows 10 just to transfer files will that cause any issues? Hope this makes sense..if not I'll try to clarify. Thanks. |

Nope no issue. Windows already know what drive your OS is on and will ignore the old drives OS. Only time that would be a problem is if you happened to unplug your new drive from the motherboard and had your old drive plugged in.
Have fun.
