New computer Wifi?

Hey there!

I just got my awesome computer today and I got everything set up!

When I try to set up my wifi, there was no wifi list.

Currently I am using a ethernet cable and that's a problem considering I need to get my modem, router next to my pc.

Do I need a Wireless adapator? I am assuming that the motherboard doesn't come with a wifi card.

What motherboard do you have ? Most do not have WIFI built in. If there is no connector in the back to plug in the included antennae then not a wifi mobo. You'll need an internal card or a USB wifi adapter.   Tons to pick from on Amazon.

he needs a specific motherboard model to know whether or not it has wi-fi capabilities.

running every single game on ultra high settings on 100~120 FPS so fun (Blade and Soul)

If you got a vanquish then I'm pretty sure you don't have wifi.

What made you think you have wifi ability if I may ask?

Many years ago my family owned a PC back around 2008~2009 I believe.

There was wifi in the PC so I thought that most PC's come with the wifi kinda like a laptop.


But hey, you learn something new everything right? haha

Anyways right now I am doing really good with the PC.

currently am using ethernet but if the wiring becomes too much of an issue if I ever move to a different house, I could just get a adapter.

PC is great!


Definitely will be recommending Digital Storm to friends!

dl and run cpu-z.  it will tell you all about your ram, cpu, motherboard, etc.

or you can go into the UEFI bios.  or just open it up and look at the board, it should be written on it somewhere.
