Haha, $3000 is plenty for a kickass system.
Good build, but here's my thoughts :
- I'd prefer the PCI-N card over the USB-N.
- I would highly consider dropping the GPU liquid cooling off for a SSD. The performance gain would be a lot more than a liquid cooled overclocked GTX 570 in my opinion.
- Eh, opinions around here prefer the HAF X as the leading air cooling case, so I guess go with that?

Yes, i was considering a SSD, but from what I hear, its a easy installation for a homeowner, in-case they dont have the money at that time. I was thinking since i wouldnt be too good at installing a lcs myself i'd get DS to do that, then order the ssd later on. I saw the Solid State Hybrid by seagate, dont know if thats worth looking into, i only saw reviews for a laptop version? dont know if they can do both.

About the Case i did some looking around and i have dust issues, and antec 85 said in multiple reviews that they deal with ti better the a Haf 942. Also they say that airflow is eqal or better to the Haf X series. noise is nothing im worried about, heat on the other hand is my major concern. I have a house built in 1939, i live on the second floor with attic access and 2 windows in 18 by 12 room. I was thinking that the airflow might be a little useless with just fans so i was thinking that lcs might be better in that area. Forgot to mention that a A/c In my room is a no go, that windows structure cannot support it. Now if i could find a movable portable a/c unit on wheels lol. Thanks for the input.

Also about pci based vs Usb, Is there a specific reason you would suggest that instead of usb, i mean yes i guess there would be more risk in losing or damaging it since its the usb, and would also block my use of that socket. Just wondering.

If you like that case that is fine, but that is not the best case for LC.

for LC extra fans won't much matter in the LCs and OC of 3.9GHz.

if room temp is warm, then fans are blowing warm air, and your LC also is using fans on rad, that means that your fans for the LC are blowing warm air to help cool down the liquid, warm air does not help cool things down.

but if you are stuck on LC and that case then this is how it should be:

Here you go Ticket# 521974 --- $2884 (To see this build click here)

Unless I missed something, I don't see why you would need that much ram.

for gaming lan is best, you will have lag with wireless.
