Alright, here's what I'm currently looking at, and I wouldn't mind a spot of advice on it. :)
I the past, I've built all of my own machines and they've generally been middle-of-the-road, price-wise, but this time I'm in the mood for something professionally put together. [Budget] - $2500-3000 [Expectations / Usage] - 90% gaming machine, single monitor, 1920x1080 widescreen. Lots of online gaming, WoW, TF2, and others. The only item I'm really waffling over is getting a single 480 card, or going SLI with 2x470's. Also, are the Killer NIC cards actually useful? Thanks! Id dump one of the Optical drives, Killer NIC....some people swear by them but honestly I believe that the best investment you can make on that front is to pay for the best line your ISP can give ya. Might want to bump up the PS for the DUAL cards, so you have some free overhead to play with. Unless you have a specific need Id also get Windows Home Premium......There are reasons to get the ultimate but they generally do not apply to most people. Oh and I heard the i7 920 is available again, if so....go for that its the same chip as the 950 or so I have been informed.
