Budget:
2800 about, but if the performance or something can be significantly better for 3000 I can go there. I have everything but the actual computer already so that is all I need in the budget.

Expectations: I want games to run well essentially, high fps etc.

Usage:
90% gaming and 10% random other stuff like internet

Saved Ticket #: 461379

Specifications:
I have the Samsung PTX2370 and I'm not sure if that will run blu-ray or not so if anyone knows that would be great and that will decide if I include a player in the build.

You could start w/ this: ticket number: 461393

The GTX 580s have increased significantly in price so it would be an extra $400 to upgrade, but IMO is worth it for the increased performance, better temps, power consumption, and noise reduction.

yea, its tough to config right now becuase both 480s and 580 are so overpriced, but dual 580s are barely over your price range

you could, even though i usually advise against it, get 1 580 and hope the market settles some after xmas, just a thought that could(should) save you at least 100-200 bucks)
